  Ordered a cake for my fiances 30th birthday and paid a deposit well in advance, had lots of correspondance leading upto the date about flavours of cake etc. Contacted her to arrange collection 5 days before the due date to be told that she was not doing the cake as I hadnt paid the remainder of the money 1 week before the date. A little reminder email wouldnt go amiss maybe!! Absolutely shocking busines practice in my opinion and has left me very wary about booking things like this with anyone!

  This person will take your deposit and never reply to any of your correspondence. We booked for our wedding cake and paid £50 deposit. My fiancee tried to contact her several times to make some arrangements and had no response, she then raised a dispute through paypal. It was only at this stage that Piece of Cake came back to her and said she is still sorting everything for us and the dispute was resolved. But since then we have tried to contact Piece of cake several times by phone, e-mail etc and we have had absolutely no response. DO NOT TOUCH THIS PERSON WITH A BARGEPOLE.
