Can you remarry after a divorce

In today's credit crunch climate more people are sending their shoes to be repaired - and more couples are considering repairing their relationship.Maybe there are some sound reasons for this. One is the 'dangling carrot'. The promise of a lavish holiday, new car or fabulous kitchen may have been a tempting carrot which kept partners looking ahead to something good rather than actually sorting out something wrong between them. Now for many, the distraction of a 'treat' is allowing them to face up to problems which exist in the cold light of day - and to sort them out purprisingly effectively. If your partner puts you down is it worth putting up with it for the promise of a new kitchen or car? Why not sort out the dynamics between you. Often these go back to early childhood, and the feeling of being unheard, second best or feeling unloved which is triggered once again. We choose our adult sexual relationship to rework the unresolved issues from childhood, but all too often we find ourselves back at square one. But what part are we playing in keeping ourselves there? Some people leave one relationship and find the pattern of interacting repeated in their next one, too. In which case it is time to take stock.Others may wish to end a relationship as a way to express their disappointment or anger - but it may be worth just finding a way to express it first - who knows - you may be heard!
